ARE YOU An ADELINE ?
Do you love to sing in the shower? Do you croon in your car? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to perform on stage? Would you like more fun and excitement in your life? You are about to find it!
WHO ARE WE?
Greenville in Harmony is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International--a membership organization of female singers, who meet regularly to practice, socialize, and have fun. Our chorus and quartets within our chorus perform in public and compete on a regional level.
WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO WE SING?
Greenville in Harmony chorus and quartets perform four-part a cappella harmony. This style of music lends itself to many types of music including ballads, show tunes, jazz, even gospel.
WHY WOULD I WANT TO JOIN?
Most of our members join for the singing. And they are thrilled to discover new friendships--we are like family. Then they stay because of the opportunity to sharpen their skills through regular vocal training and coaching, and the thrill of performing or competing.
